Healing body, mind and spirit … our mission at Saint Agnes Medical Center for nearly nine decades. These values were first inspired by the Sisters of the Holy Cross who, with a staff of 32, opened the original 75-bed Saint Agnes Hospital in 1929. We answered the Valley's need for expanded health services with our move north in 1975, and have since evolved into a 436-bed, state-of-the-art Medical Center campus – bringing together the most advanced equipment and facilities, and the expertise of top-ranked physicians and staff.
To further serve our community and improve access to primary and specialty care, Saint Agnes has grown to offer several new Saint Agnes Care sites and two urgent care clinics, and has established an accredited internal medicine residency program to attract and cultivate new physicians. We're also proud to be the only hospital in Fresno County to achieve international recognition as a Baby-Friendly designated birth facility.
Along with growing our physical presence, Saint Agnes also remains focused on strengthening its partnerships with Dignity Health and Valley Children's Healthcare to form an integrated health care delivery network unlike any other in the region. We understand how frustrating it can be to wait, especially when you're in pain or not feeling well. So we appreciate your understanding that we stabilize and treat the most severely ill and injured patients first.

If it is determined by one of our ED physicians that you need to be admitted to the hospital, we will make every effort to get you settled into your room as soon as possible. If the specific type of room you need is not available, we will make you as comfortable as possible in the ED until your assigned room becomes available.

As part of our vision to elevate the level of care and service we provide to expectant moms, Saint Agnes is proud to provide the area's only OB Emergency Department that is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year, with Board Certified OB/GYN hospitalists. If you are greater than 20 weeks and have an urgent or emergent pregnancy-related need, take comfort in knowing that you will be seen by one of our OB/GYN hospitalists or your personal OB/GYN – regardless of time, complication or circumstances.

Located in downtown Fresno, Community Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we're home to Central California's highest level of care. We have a capacity of 685 licensed beds and see an average of 663 inpatients a day.
Our one-of-a-kind Central California Neuroscience Institute brings together clinical experts in brain tumors, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and more. We were the first hospital in the world to offer Generation 4 CyberKnife technology to treat cancer.
As a leader in comprehensive cardiovascular services Community Regional offers more advanced cardiac treatment options than any other hospital in the Valley. We perform about 3,600 cardiovascular procedures a year and partner with the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program to offer the only cardiology, pulmonary and interventional cardiac fellowship training programs in the region.
We are one of the busiest birthing centers in California with the largest Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit in the Valley. Recognizing the role family plays in recovery, Community Regional established Terry's House, a 17,000-square-foot home established to provide a supportive residence for families while their loved ones receive critical care in the hospital.
